The End of Inktober 2018 and more

Hey there sports fans, Al here with the latest:
As it turned out September turned out to be for intensive reason a bust for illustration. Especially of every kind mind you. Now of course this nothing new for anybody who is an artist but it seemed to drag out for a very long time.
And I was not happy about it either. Who would be?
But as the month of October got closer and closer I realized that I needed to get out of my funk and get on the ball. The funny thing is all these images are quick off the cuff and reactionary to the word prompt.
If you have never seen any of this work you should. There are some incredibly talented artist in these postings.

BY THIS TIME of writing I should mention that Inktober 2018 has come and gone.

What a fantastic run it was this year.

And I was able to keep at task with everyday prompts that were being used for the illustrations. The interesting thing that I noticed was the fact that was that as the last week progressed the images began to take on different look and feel. More color and detail.
Now it is true that I could look ahead and get an idea of what I wanted to draw but the dynamics of each piece was really cool.
I was very happy about it AND it, the illustration, got me out of a funk that I was in going in.
I had been working on before Inktober rolled in on trying to finish layouts for Robot Monster. But those were just layouts not finished illustrations. Now onto Richard Parker.

So hopefully we’ll see some major improvements on all fronts from here on out.

And I am out of here.
